As the 2024 Presidential Election draws closer, the race for the White House enters the home stretch. While many voters will mail in their ballots all throughout the month of October, the official election day will take place on Tuesday, November 5th. To earn the White House in 2025, a candidate must achieve 270 Electoral Votes through the Electoral College.

The states listed below are ones that have voted Democrat every Presidential election since 2000, which is a span of six Presidential Elections.

- Oregon – 8 Electoral Votes
- California – 54 Electoral Votes
- Minnesota – 10 Electoral Votes
- Illinois – 19 Electoral Votes
- New York – 28 Electoral Votes
- Washington D.C. – 3 Electoral Votes
- Maryland – 10 Electoral Votes
- Deleware – 3 Electoral Votes
- New Jersey – 14 Electoral Votes
- Connecticut – 7 Electoral Votes
- Rhode Island – 4 Electoral Votes
- Massachusetts – 11 Electoral Votes
- Vermont – 3 Electoral Votes
- Hawaii – 4 Electoral Votes
- Maine – 3* Electoral Votes
TOTAL ELECTORAL VOTES: 193
*Maine is one of two states that has split Electoral Votes, along with Nebraska. Back in 1972, Maine implemented the congressional district method. This allows the state to allocate two electoral votes to the stats popular vote winner. The other electoral vote will go to the popular vote winner in each congressional district. This gives Maine four total electoral votes that can be split amongst the parties. While three electoral votes have gone to Democrats since 2000, a split did occur during the 2016 Election. Donald Trump earned one electoral vote in Maine with the other three going to Hillary Clinton.
