The Russell Wilson era is officially over in the Mile High City.
The Denver Broncos finally did the inevitable by releasing QB Russell Wilson and taking a massive dead-cap hit to move on from the disappointing passer.
The Broncos-Seahawks deal, which involved multiple first-round picks and players, is arguably the worst trade in NFL history after the former Seahawks star lasted just two seasons in Denver.
