The Fiesta Bowl is set with Group of 5 program Liberty taking on Oregon in a matchup of two squads trending in different directions. Liberty has yet to lose this season and is hoping to represent the Group of 5 well, while Oregon is still recovering from its second loss to Washington this year.

Here’s a look at the opening odds for this contest and our early prediction.

Liberty vs. Oregon opening odds for Fiesta Bowl

Spread: Oregon -15.5

Early prediction: Liberty +15.5

The Flames are looking to keep their undefeated season alive, and are arguably playing in the most prestigious game in program history with their Fiesta Bowl appearance. The Ducks, on the other hand, could see some players who are NFL-bound sit this one out. Oregon is the better team on paper and if Bo Nix plays, it might be worth taking the Ducks. For now, Liberty getting two touchdowns is hard to pass up.
