Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
We have seven games on tonight’s slate. Zach Lavine, Evan Mobley, Kyrie Irving and Draymond Green have already been ruled out. The big names who are questionable are Anthony Edwards ($8,900), Paul George ($8,400), Jaylen Brown ($7,900), Deandre Ayton ($6,900) and Malcolm Brogdon ($8,300). Keep track of all the pertinent updates at DK Live. As […]

It’s the slate before Christmas. There will be many distractions, mostly of the cheerful kind, but still, we must remain focused and get down to business. These DK streets can get vicious if you are not of the utmost mental fitness. Let’s sit and observe the landscape with a quiet stillness, always being suspicious in […]

After last night’s 13-game Whopper, we get a five-piece nugget meal tonight. I personally like the smaller slates, so hopefully the guidance is less terrible than normal. As a Lakers fan, I’d just like to reiterate that the Lakers won the In-Season Tournament. Oh, they also play tonight. LeBron James ($9,700) and Anthony Davis ($9,800) […]

We have a massive 13-game slate tonight. The IST Champion Los Angeles Lakers get to spend another night in Las Vegas, reveling in their victory, smoking cigars and rolling dice while watching the rest of the peasants frolick up and down the basketball court. As usual, on a big slate such as this, there are […]

The semi-finals of the In-Season Tournament is tonight’s slate. My question is this? Since it’s in Las Vegas, and what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, will these games exist if we are not there to witness them, and will they turn into pumpkins at the stroke of midnight? I just combined a bunch of […]

Week 14! The number of games is quickly whittling down to the amount of hair follicles on top of the dome of one Mr. Clean. This means fewer chances to collect the green. We must become lean, mean, DKFP machines in order to be Team #Winning like Charlie Sheen. Then we can shower our respective […]

The NBA In-Season tournament knockout stage started yesterday with a two-game slate. I need more, as the games were faaaaaantastic last night. The gods have listened….<feels tap on shoulder>… ”This is how the NBA scheduled things before the start of the season,” says my imaginary intern. Shut up, stupid intern. As for injuries we need […]

We have a two-game slate tonight. These games will be the In-Season Tournament Quarterfinals, so it’s win or go home! NBA is faaaaaaaaaantastic. Boston will be without Kristaps Porzingis while Indiana could be without Tyrese Haliburton ($10,900) and Obi Toppin ($5,200). Haliburton is the conductor of the Pacers potent offense, so whether he plays or […]

We have a six-game slate for tonight. Kristaps Porzingis is the only notable player listed out as of now. UPDATE: Luka Doncic has also been ruled out. This will be his first missed game of the season. Kyrie Irving ($9,100) definitely benefits but it’s actually Tim Hardaway Jr. ($5,500) who has seen the biggest usage […]
December 1, 2023
We have a nine-game slate for tonight. Chris Paul is out while Anthony Edwards ($9,100) is doubtful. Edwards hasn’t missed a game this season, so there is uncertainty as to who will replace him. UPDATE: Kyle Anderson said that Edwards will not play tonight. Nickeil Alexander-Walker ($4,900) will probably start at shooting guard with Kyle […]

It’s December! What happened to November, October and September? They are all floating in the jet stream like burning embers. Dismembered. Man, time flies, as we will soon be enjoying playoff splendor. By now, we have sifted the contenders from the pretenders. I think we’ve always known which teams would surrender, but how about Denver? […]
