Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
Only the Packers and Steelers are on bye this week, so the impact will be mitigated because the fantasy prospects from those teams are bleak. Let’s be real, they reek! On the flip side, the Chiefs, Bills, Cowboys and Chargers are off the main slate, so it’s time to turn up the Gang Starr and […]

Week 5. It’s time for the schedule to include byes, so remove the Browns, Chargers, Seahawks and Buccaneers from the viewing pie. Is it too early for teams to start stalking Caleb Williams in order to wave hi? Regardless, Sunday’s slate will continue to supply, those fantasy goodies that we glorify, but we must be […]

Week Four. First off, last week is in the rearview mirror so no victory dancing anymore. Want the masses to continue to adore? Well, it’s time to pour out a cup of coffee and open up the browsers in order to explore and see what this slate has in store. Which players will constitute a […]

Week Three. Which players will be the key, that will enable us to vault all the pretenders to the top of those juicy GPPs? Will it be someone from Tennessee? That wouldn’t be my first nominee since that game has a paltry total of 39 while the opponent is a stout Cleveland D. Let me […]

Our palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy. It’s like we’re back as teenagers, wanting to kiss Jennie or Jerry. Back to the days when we were much less hairy. But now it’s on. Because the NFL season has once again spawned. All offseason we’ve been preparing and prepping as if living in Taiwan. […]

Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The Nuggets and Heat haven’t played enough games to be considered rivals. Not by miles. But they both have something in common, and that is the goal of entering the pantheon of teams with titles. This showcase of games has uncovered the minors and elevated the statuses of Nikola […]

Eight. That’s how many games we have on tonight’s slate. That makes me feel great. The only thing that would make it better is if Red Panda shows up in a halftime show, flipping plate after plate on her head while balancing on a unicycle with just her body weight. That is not up for […]

Playoffs?! We talkin’ bout playoffs?! Indeed we are. The sidelines are filled with some of the league’s brightest stars. No Derek Carr. Ouch, as a Raiders fan, that left a scar. I need someone to strum love songs on the guitar. Anyways, three more wins and one of the remaining teams will be lighting up […]

It’s the Wild Card Round. Two games on Saturday and three games on Sunday. The first step towards fitting the crown on the team that can confound their opponents, whether it be through the air or on the ground, and making their fan base proud. Let’s dig into this slate like an ultrasound. Searching for […]

We are already through 11% of the 2022-23 NFL season! Time sure does fly, especially when you’re having fun stacking the BAL/MIA game from Week 2. Per DraftKings Sportsbook, there are two games with a total of at least 50 points — BUF/MIA (53) and DET/MIN (53). HOU/CHI and NO/CAR have the lowest totals at […]

There are seven games for Sunday’s NBA main slate with four games tipping off at 7:00 p.m. ET — the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Minnesota Timberwolves at the New York Knicks, the Detroit Pistons at the Orlando Magic and the Philadelphia 76ers at the Toronto Raptors. There’s one game at 7:30 […]
