Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
For Thursday night, get your popcorn ready because we have two of the best quarterbacks in the land going head-to-head: Jayden Daniels vs. Jalen Hurts. Daniels is second only to Lamar Jackson in Total EPA, although he’s been dealing with a rib injury recently. The Eagles have now won five straight and sit atop the […]

Last season, the Dallas Mavericks finished fifth in the Western Conference with a 50-32 record. They got hot during the playoffs and made it to the Finals, but got cooled off by the Boston Celtics juggernaut. To start this season, they are only 5-6. They were seventh in offensive efficiency last season and are eighth […]

On paper, we should have one of the best games of the week. But scissors slice through paper and paper can also be crumpled up and thrown into the trash. Plus, it’s a Thursday night island game, so weird stuff often happens. That said, Washington and Philadelphia are 1 and 2 in Rush EPA. Philadelphia […]

DK Metcalf is a physical freak, running the 40-yard dash in 4.33 seconds despite a 6-foot-3, 228-pound frame. His agility score, though, is in the fourth percentile, so the route tree has never been diverse. What he does well, though, he does incredibly well. In five NFL seasons, Metcalf finished with a yards/reception over 15 […]

It’s been a nightmare start to the season for the Milwaukee Bucks, as they have only posted two wins in the first 10 games. That nightmare has gotten worse, as Damian Lillard is out for Tuesday’s game due to being in the concussion protocol. Lillard played 36 minutes during Sunday’s game. According to Chris Haynes, […]

The 76ers have gotten off to a 2-7 start, as the injury gods have not been kind. Paul George missed the first five games of the season and Tyrese Maxey has been out for the last two. But good news has been bestowed upon the City of Brotherly Love as Joel Embiid will make his […]

Bulls guard Lonzo Ball missed over two seasons due to a severe knee injury suffered in January 2022. He was finally able to return to the court this season, but then was shelved once again after three games. This time, though, it wasn’t the knee, but a wrist injury. During a game against the Memphis […]

UPDATE: Duren ($6,100) has been upgraded from questionable to available for Tuesday’s matchup vs. the Heat. During the first quarter of last Wednesday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets, Duren went up to get a defensive rebound but suffered an injury when his left foot landed on a teammate’s foot when he landed. He only played […]
