DeRozan missed three games two weeks ago due to lower back tightness. He then played three games and averaged 35.8 minutes per contest, but the back issue resurfaced on Monday, causing him to miss Wednesday’s contest. He will now miss his second straight game as he’s officially been ruled out for Friday.

The Kings next play on Sunday at home against the San Antonio Spurs then on Tuesday against the Houston Rockets.
Jae Crowder got the start on Wednesday and played 27 minutes. He will likely get the starting nod again.
