Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Najee Harris with the 24th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. After four successful seasons, the Steelers did not extend him, allowing the Los Angeles Chargers to scoop him up, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. It’s a one-year deal for $9.25 million. Harris may not have been the flashiest back in […]

UPDATE: Williams will not return on Monday. Late in the second quarter of Monday’s game against the Nuggets, Jalen Williams ($8,500) fell on his hip after a drive. He remained in the game for a bit but eventually limped his way to the locker room. Prior to exiting, Williams contributed 12 points, two rebounds and […]

Gerrit Cole is a mountain of a man at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds. The massive frame helped him be a relative bastion of health while averaging around 97 mph on his fastball for most of his career. Like most young pitchers, the innings were slowly ramped up from 117 in his rookie season to 138 […]

Tyrese Maxey ($9,000) missed the last two games due to a back injury. He’s questionable for Monday’s contest against the Atlanta Hawks. Even if Maxey returns to action, there is just too much risk to consider him for fantasy. Philadelphia is 11th in the Eastern Conference at 21-41. Their 2025 first round pick will go […]

The Pittsburgh Steelers have traditionally been about running the ball, playing good defense and taking shots when afforded. Last season, Pittsburgh was 28th in passing rate at 51.69%, but 5th in deep passing rate. On Sunday, they added one of the best deep threats in the game, DK Metcalf, for a 2025 second-round pick. Pittsburgh […]

The Los Angeles Rams offense had the eighth-fewest dropbacks (594) last season, yet threw for the 10th-most yards (4,096). And that was with Puka Nacua only playing 11 games while Cooper Kupp suited up for only 12. Nacua started all 17 games his rookie season and there is much optimism heading into his third professional […]

Tyrese Haliburton ($8,700) has missed the last two games due to a hip issue. He is questionable for Monday’s contest against the Chicago Bulls. TJ McConnell ($5,100) is also questionable after spraining his right ankle early in Saturday’s game. If Haliburton is unable to go, Andrew Nembhard ($5,700) would be the biggest beneficiary, as he’s […]

The Los Angeles Lakers travelled to Boston on Saturday and exited their game against the Celtics bruised and battered, literally. Not only did they lose the game, 101-111, and LeBron James for at least a week, but Luka Doncic ($12,000) and Jaxson Hayes ($5,000) are now questionable for Monday’s contest against the Brooklyn Nets, while […]
