Kevin Durant Injury Update: 3/30/25 vs. the Rockets

UPDATE: After the game, Coach Budenholzer said Durant will get an MRI on his left ankle and won’t join the team on the upcoming three-game road trip.

Midway through the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Houston Rockets, Kevin Durant ($9,700) stepped on the foot of a defender as he drove the left side of the lane. He made his way to the locker room, but did not shoot the free throws before exiting, so he is done for the night.

Prior to exiting, Durant contributed 11 points, seven rebounds, an assist and a steal in 23 minutes. Oso Ighodaro ($3,600) was the substitute for Durant.

Phoenix next plays on Tuesday in Milwaukee then travels to Boston on Friday. There are seven games left in the regular season and Phoenix is one game back of the 10th seed in the Western Conference.
