Brady Singer, Kansas City Royals at Seattle Mariners, ($8,800) — The Mariners lead the league in strikeouts against right-handed pitching (29.1%). Singer strikes out 25.1% of hitters. He has allowed one run or fewer in six of his eight starts. There’s only one bad outing on his CV. Don’t overthink it. The price is perfect and the matchup is pristine.

Randy Vasquez, San Diego Padres vs. Colorado Rockies ($6,000) — SP Joe Musgrove was placed on the IL. The Padres recalled Vasquez despite a lackluster start to the Triple-A season. The former Top-10 Yankees prospect — acquired through the Juan Soto trade — was decent in his return. He allowed one earned run in 4.1 innings with six strikeouts (16.75 DKFP). The Rockies can’t hit outside of Coors Field (78 wRC+) and can’t hit right-handed pitching 27.5% K-Rate, .302 wOBA, .130 ISO and 79 wRC+.
INFIELD
Stud
Josh Naylor, Cleveland Guardians at Texas Rangers, ($5,400) — The Guardians should be popular on Monday and Naylor should be Cleveland’s most popular pick. He’s hot — .480 wOBA and .450 ISO in his last 23 at-bats. The matchup is good. SP Michael Lorenzen ($7,400) has a 4.52 xFIP and has allowed 1.55 HR/9. Last but not least, Globe Life Field in Texas is one of the most homer-friendly parks in MLB.

Tyler Soderstorm, Oakland Athletics at Houston Astros, ($2,100) — We’re skipping a stud and stacking three value picks. The value situation is unique. Good hitters are cheap and in a great spot on Monday’s slate. These hitters also have catcher eligibility — often a tough position to fill. The 2020 No. 26 overall pick was called up last week. Not only has 1B/C Soderstorm hit safely in each game, he’s homered and doubled.
Shea Langeliers, Oakland Athletics at Houston Astros, ($3,800) — How about another Oakland catcher? The A’s are cheap and they crush right-handed pitching. Langliers has a .407 wOBA, .395 ISO and 171 wRC+ vs. RHP. SP Spencer Arrighetti ($7,200) is one of the worst pitchers on Monday’s slate — 0-4 with a 4.48 xFIP, 2.02 WHIP and 1.69 HR/9.
Brett Harris Oakland Athletics at Houston Astros, ($2,500) — The A’s stack continues. Harris works in the stack or as a great one-off pick that provides maximum value. The A’s No. 9 prospect is hitting right-handed pitching — .355 wOBA, .333 ISO and 135 wRC+.
OUTFIELD
Stud
Steven Kwan, Cleveland Guardians at Texas Rangers, ($4,700) — The visiting leadoff hitter gets a boost. This hitter receives more opportunities to score fantasy points than any other hitter. That comes in handy against one of the worst bullpens in MLB (4.27 xFIP). As for the matchup with Lorenzen, Kwan has a .387 OBA and 155 wRC+ vs. RHP.
Fernando Tatis Jr, San Diego Padres vs. Colorado Rockies, ($5,400) — Will Tatis “The Taker Maker” tater today? He baked one up on Sunday. He’s been cooking lately. In May, he has a .392 wOBA, .182 ISO and 161 wRC+. SP Dakota Hudson ($5,000) is 0-6 with a 5.24 xFIP and -1.2% K-BB%.
Value
Brent Rooker, Oakland Athletics at Houston Astros, ($4,000) — More A’s? Rooker is the best Oakland option and he’s cheap. He’s one of the hottest hitters in baseball — .486 wOBA, .286 ISO and 221 wRC+ over the last week. And like the others, he hits right-handed pitching — .456 wOBA, .342 ISO and 204 wRC+.
Eddie Rosario, Washington Nationals at Chicago White Sox, ($2,600) — Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, ”The Hottest Hitter in Baseball.” Over the last week, Rosario leads MLB with his .686 wOBA in 20 plate appearances. SP Chris Flexen ($5,800) has a 4.89 xFIP and he’s pitching in a hitter’s park on Monday.
