The Cincinnati Reds are attempting to claw their way back into the National League Playoff picture and after dropping their weekend series against the Washington Nationals, find themselves in a pressure-filled series in Atlanta against the Braves starting on Monday.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Atlanta Braves (-155, 8)

Hunter Greene gets the start on the mound for the Reds, who has a 3.34 ERA with 10.3 strikeouts per nine innings, but is also issuing 3.7 walks per nine innings with a 3.64 fielding independent.

Backing up Greene is a Reds offense that is averaging more runs per game on the road than at home, generating nearly 4.5 runs per game on the road compared to4.4 runs per game at home.

Starting at pitcher for the Braves is Reynaldo Lopez, who has yet to allow more than three earned runs in a start this season across 17 starts with a 1.88 ERA, but signs of regression are noticeable.

Lopez is issuing 3.2 walks per nine innings while getting 8.9 strikeouts per nine innings for a 3.06 fielding independent

While the Braves entered Sunday in bullpen ERA this season at 2.98 and the Refs were fifth in this category with a 3.45 ERA, both teams have seen their expected fielding independent balloon with the Braves bullpen posting a 3.85 expected fielding independent of 3.85 since May 1 and the Reds a 3.75 expected fielding independent in this span.

With the Reds generating more offense on the road than at home and both starting pitchers and bullpens due for regression, Monday will be the day these two middling offenses bust out.
