The Milwaukee Brewers enter Monday leading the National League Central and look to extend their lead in the division even further on Monday when they go on the road to face the Los Angeles Angels.

Carlos Rodriguez will make his second career start at the MLB level for the Milwaukee Brewers and went just 3 2/3 innings with two runs allowed in his MLB debut.
While that short outing for Rodriguez isn’t ideal, the Brewers enter Monday with a large advantage in the bullpen, ranking fifth in baseball with a 3.24 bullpen ERA while the Angels are 29th in this category with a 5.19 bullpen ERA.
Jose Soriano will do his best to prevent the Angels, who had a bullpen game on Sunday, to go to it too much as he has a 3.48 ERA and 3.89 fielding independent with only 0.7 home runs per nine innings allowed, but is also getting just 7.5 strikeouts and 3.5 walks per nine innings as well.
The biggest issue Soriano has though is that he is a right-handed pitcher and the Brewers .337 on-base percentage against right-handed pitching leads the league.
The Brewers overall are seventh in the league in scoring with over 4.8 runs per game while the Angels are registering just 4.1 runs per game, which dips to less than four runs per game at home, ranking 23rd in runs per game at home this season.
The Angels own the worst win percentage of any MLB team at home this season with a mark of 11-23 and the Brewers will continue their home shortcomings on Monday.
