The Celtics stole Game 3 in Dallas and now hold a commanding 3-0 series lead over Luka Doncic and company. Now, the Jays and their supporting cast look to become the first team to sweep both the Conference Finals and NBA Finals.
In this article, I’m going to break down my favorite NBA player prop on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 4 of Celtics-Mavericks. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Jaylen Brown Over. 4.5 Assists (+120)

The Finals MVP favorite has been nothing short of incredible in this series.
From a scoring perspective, Brown has been ultra-efficient, shooting over 50% in all three games. On the other side of the ball, the superstar has made his All-Defensive snub look like a blatant mistake, racking up a combined six steals and four blocks so far while giving Luka Doncic consistent headaches.
From a playmaking perspective, he’s been quietly elite. Jaylen dished out 15 combined assists in Games 2 and 3, which is reflective of both his personal development and Boston’s selfless style of basketball.
The Celtics have put on a passing masterclass in the Finals, racking up 78 team assists over the course of three contests. Their ball movement has been second to none all year long thanks to the depth of scoring options within their top six — and really eight, if we give Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser the credit they deserve — players.
Brown jumped out to a hot playmaking start in Games 2 and 3, recording three and four respective first-quarter assists. His line is set at 1.5 at +180 on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 4. While I think there’s clear value there, I’m opting to highlight his full-game line, as plus-money for five dimes is quite enticing.
I expect Brown to keep his recent hot streak rolling tonight en route to a probable — and deserved — Finals MVP nod.
