The NBA Finals continue Wednesday night!
The Celtics took care of business in Boston, and now this series heads to Dallas with the Mavericks looking to keep their title aspirations alive.
In this article, I’m going to break down my favorite NBA player prop on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 3 of Celtics-Mavericks. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Boston Celtics vs. Dallas Mavericks — Game 3
Jayson Tatum Over 15.5 Assists + Rebounds (-115)

Jason Kidd made headlines after Game 1 by declaring Jaylen Brown Boston’s best player.
However, actions speak louder than words.
Despite making that claim, Kidd proceeded to let Brown operate in isolation while sending doubles and triples Jayson Tatum’s way. While that strategy worked from a scoring perspective — Tatum only finished with 18 points — the superstar subsequently picked the Mavericks apart with his passing.
Playmaking out of doubles has been arguably the greatest area of improvement for Tatum throughout the course of his career and it was on display Sunday night, as he racked up 12 dimes.
So, clearly I’m enamored with Tatum’s assists market, which is set at 5.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. However, I’m opting for the combo prop, as I feel 15.5 dimes and boards gives us more room to work with. Boston’s No. 1 option is a prolific rebounder, averaging over 10 per game in these playoffs. He could easily grab 12 or 13 on Wednesday, which would only require three or four assists to hit this over.
Despite his shooting struggles, I still expect Kidd to send multiple defenders Tatum’s way, and if that’s the case he should continue racking up the assists en route to hitting this over.
