The Dallas Cowboys finished last season with a 12-5 record and won the NFC East thanks to the Philadelphia Eagles’ late-season downfall. The Cowboys’ offseason was rather uneventful other than owner Jerry Jones saying that quarterback Dak Prescott has had an expensive supporting cast that likely won’t continue much longer. Along with those confusing comments, Dallas let former running back Tony Pollard walk in free agency and brought back former starter Ezekiel Elliott.
Here’s a look at the projected offensive depth chart for the 2024 Dallas Cowboys following the 2024 NFL Draft.

Biggest offensive NFL Draft additions
If you’re at the center of the Venn Diagram, that would be a Dallas fan and an avid fantasy football player, you don’t have much to cheer about from the draft. Four of the Cowboys’ eight draft picks were on offense, but three were offensive line additions. This should help Elliott’s upside and buy more time for Prescott, but it doesn’t give you a draftable player to target in fantasy football. Wide receiver Ryan Flournoy was selected in the sixth round, but I don’t know if you’re even drafting him in a 32-team dynasty league.
Player most impacted by NFL Draft for fantasy football
It looked like Dowdle was going to be a big beneficiary from the Cowboys’ draft, as they didn’t select a running back to replace Pollard. Dallas then brought back Ezekiel Elliott, but it remains to be seen what kind of split in the backfield they will use. Michael Gallup left in free agency, and the Cowboys didn’t replace him through the draft. I think this helps Cooks’ draft stock and makes Tolbert a worthy late-round flier for best ball leagues.
