Best Timberwolves player prop bets to consider for Game 4 vs. Mavericks

The Minnesota Timberwolves are hoping to stave off elimination when they visit the Dallas Mavericks in Game 4 of the 2024 Western Conference Finals. The Timberwolves have been competitive in this series but have not been able to close out games. They’ve lost the three contests in this series so far by a combined 13 points.

Here’s a look at some of our favorite Timberwolves player prop bets to target for Game 4 Tuesday, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Karl-Anthony Towns under 19.5 points (-105)

I thought Towns would step up in Game 3 knowing he had to produce in order for Minnesota to get back in the series. Instead, the big man mustered just 14 points on yet another horrendous shooting performance. Furthermore, Towns appears to be content with his performances in his postgame commentary. The Timberwolves might give Naz Reid more run due to his production so far, which would limit Towns’ minutes and eat into his opportunities. Also, Towns is prone to getting into foul trouble. He’s stayed under this mark in all three games and I don’t see the situation improving for him in Game 4.

Anthony Edwards over 6.5 assists (+102)

Edwards showed up in Game 3 with his best outing of the series, although by the end of the contest he looked too tired to attack the Dallas defense. The forward has been distributing the ball well in this matchup, going over this line in all three games so far. I expect him to continue making his mark in that category as the Timberwolves try to get one more game in front of their home fans. Edwards will look to score but he should do enough setting up his teammates to go over this line.

Naz Reid over 1.5 3-pointers (-135)

After going over this line in the first two games, Reid only hit one of his five triples in Game 3. The Timberwolves are going to encourage him to keep firing and if he gets hot from deep, he could really go for a big number. I don’t know that Reid will hit seven triples like he did in Game 2, but he’s too good of a shooter to stay under this mark given his volume. I’ll back him to can at least a couple perimeter shots in this do-or-die situation.
