UPDATE: Onyeka Okongwu has returned to Saturaday’s game.

It’s tough to have a ruder entrance to the game than what Onyeka Okongwu experienced on the first play of Saturday’s game. He took a shot to the face only seconds after tipoff, and went to the locker room after a spell on the court.

Since Okongwu left the game so early, he didn’t have a chance to record any stats. As a reminder, Okongwu suffered a serious facial injury back in January when Jaylen Brown inadvertently elbowed him in the face, so this is nothing new for him. If he remains out for the rest of the game, he will be eligible for the DraftKings Early Exit program.

Stay tuned to DraftKings Network for live updates on his injury status.
