Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has left today’s matchup with the New England Patriots and jogged to the locker room with trainers. He is considered questionable to return with a hand injury.
The injury appeared to occur when he was attempting to stiff-arm a Patriots defender. Jacobs’ fingers looked to get trapped in the opponent’s facemask.
Prior to the injury, Jacobs had tallied just four rushing attempts for five yards in the matchup. It has been a turbulent season for the three-time Pro Bowler.
MarShawn Lloyd has largely led the rushing attack while Jacobs was on the Commissioner’s Exempt list to start the season. But Lloyd is inactive today due to a knee injury. Expect Pierre Strong Jr. and Savion Williams to primarily lead the production at running back if Jacobs is unable to return.
More updates will be added as they are provided by the team. Stay tuned to DK Network for further updates on him.
