New York Jets vs. Kansas City Chiefs NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 9

While it hasn’t resulted in wins yet, the New York Jets have looked scrappy on both sides of the ball after a dismal 2025 season. On Sunday, they’ll march into Arrowhead Stadium, attempting to pull off one of the upsets of the year. The Kansas City Chiefs — fresh off a devastating loss to the rival Broncos — will be keen to get back on track. We’ve got an exciting player prop market for this contest to add a bit of extra spice.

Kansas City is a 9.5-point road favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook. New York checks in at +380 to win the game outright, with the total set at 48.5 points.

Let’s dive into the top player prop bets for Sunday’s clash between the Jets and the Chiefs.

Jets vs. Chiefs NFL Player Prop Bets

Same Game Parlay: Patrick Mahomes 2+ Passing Touchdowns + Under 0.5 Interceptions (+104)

You want to hear an awful stat? Aaron Glenn took over as the head coach of the New York Jets before the 2025 season. Since then, they’ve played 25 games and allowed a horrifying 50:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio. These are passing defense lows never before reached in the NFL.

It’s not going to get better against Patrick Mahomes. Kansas City’s superstar quarterback has a solid 12:4 touchdown-to-interception ratio this season and is coming off a stellar performance against Denver, throwing for three scores without a pick. New York does a solid job of limiting the yards, but they can’t make the big plays when it counts. Mahomes will pile up the scores while avoiding costly mistakes

Breece Hall Under 40.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

It has been an awfully frustrating season for Breece Hall. He came out of the gate with a bang, running for 102 yards and a score against the Titans in Week 1. Then he got stonewalled in two straight losses to the Packers and Lions, combining for 61 rushing yards on 29 carries in those two games. Things only got worse in the Detroit game, when Hall suffered a quad injury that sidelined him from Weeks 4-8. This week, he returns, but it won’t be a triumphant one.

First things first, this Chiefs’ run defense is excellent. They’ve allowed only 674 rushing yards on the season, the eighth-best mark in the league, with a stifling 3.5 yards per carry allowed. That’s problem enough for Breece. To make matters worse, he might have been Wally Pipped; backup Braelon Allen has rushed for 100+ yards in three of his last four games and is averaging over five yards per carry this season.

Even if he retains the lead back job, which is no guarantee, the quality of Kansas City’s defense and the strong possibility of negative game script is a lot to overcome. This won’t be Hall’s best day at the office.
