The previous episode ended with a traitor finally getting voted out! Victor managed to convince almost everybody to vote out Tomica, marking the first traitor to be eliminated so far this season. Now, Victor has his sights set on Joe and could get another traitor out.

What Happened on The Traitors: New Blood Episode 9?
The heat is very much on Joe, following Victor getting Tomica banished at the last roundtable. Now, Joe needs to decide if he wants to murder Victor and eliminate the problem, or if that will draw too much of a target on Joe’s back.
This episode started with a group dinner. The players are excited to sit down and enjoy a nice meal with each other. However, Traitors fans know that events like this don’t come without a twist. That is when the show sent us to a flashback from earlier in the night, where Joe and Katie got to pick a player to poison. Back in real time, each player was given a chalice with their name on it. They all had to pick up a chalice and drink from it. However, players did not need to drink from their own glass.
It was up to each player to decide if they felt safe with their own cup, or if they wanted to trade. Victor tried to trade with Katie, Joe and other players. However, nobody was willing to swap with him. The only swap came between Joe and Shane. Everything went to plan for the traitors, as Victor made himself a target and suspicion spread to other people as well. The traitors actually decided to poison Morgan, a random kill that would be impossible to trace back to them.
Up next, it was time for the “cabin in the woods” challenge. This is a challenge that takes place every season. “Spirits” inform the players which item they want to be reunited with, and players need to solve the riddle and select the correct item to earn money. Not only is it challenging, but players actually get scared at the haunted house components of the challenge. There was also a shield up for grabs in the challenge, and Victor ended up finding the shield. The best part for Victor is that nobody saw him take the shield.
The players that look likely to receive votes at this roundtable are Victor, Joe, Wyatt and Kriste. Tune in next week to see who they go for!
