What happened to Christian Watson? Live injury updates for Packers vs. Panthers on Thursday 10/29/26

UPDATE: Watson has returned to the game.

UPDATE: Watson is questionable to return with a chest injury and was shown being taken to a local hospital by an ambulance on the broadcast.

With 9:19 left in the second quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson suffered an injury. After catching a 53-yard pass from Jordan Love, Panthers cornerback Will Lee smothered Watson into the turf. Both were injured on the play. Watson made it to the medical tent unassisted.

Prior to exiting, Watson caught six of seven targets for 100 yards.
