Utah vs. Houston Player Prop Best Bets

Devon Dampier 2+ Passing Touchdowns (-136)

Devon Dampier has been a better passer this season for the Utes. Last season, he relied a lot on his legs and ended up with 10 rushing touchdowns on the season, an average of 0.83 rushing scores per game. This season, he is averaging just 0.5 rushing touchdowns per game. Also, last season, Dampier averaged 207.5 passing yards per game. This season, he is averaging 235.3 passing yards per game. In 2025, Dampier averaged 2.0 passing touchdowns per game. In 2026, that number has bumped up to 2.5 passing touchdowns per game.

The numbers clearly show that Dampier is using his arm more often this season, especially in the red zone. He has thrown for at least two passing touchdowns in all six games this season and should keep that trend going against Houston. Houston’s pass defense has been dreadful this season, ranking 115th in defensive EPA/pass. Dampier should attack them through the air and throw for two scores for the seventh consecutive game.

Conner Weigman Anytime TD (+105)

Conner Weigman is one of the most experienced quarterbacks in the country. Weigman is in his fifth season of college football and has seen real game action since his freshman year. He has been great for Houston over the last two seasons and is ready for this moment. This is a big road trip for Houston, with College GameDay in town for this pivotal Big 12 matchup. So far this season, Weigman has a 20-2 TD-INT ratio. In addition to his excellent season throwing the football, Weigman has also been very effective with his legs for the second straight season.

Conner Weigman is Houston’s leader in rushing touchdowns this season. He is rarely looking to run, but as such an experienced quarterback, he knows when to tuck it and go. The Utah defense needs to respect the dangerous Houston passing attack, which ranks fourth in the country in EPA/pass. If the defense is too focused on the passing game and doesn’t leave a spy on Weigman, he will go pick up key yards with his legs. He is especially willing to do so in the red zone. Weigman has a great chance to rush for his seventh touchdown of the season in this game.
