DeMario Douglas Start or Sit Advice for Week 7
Douglas ($6,600 for Showdown) has come alive the last two weeks, scoring 22.5 FPTS vs. the Raiders and 20.6 FPTS vs. the Jets, making him the No.-11-scoring skill player for fantasy football during this time.
Douglas’ major uptick in production is a result of the Patriots dealing with some injuries at receiver. A.J. Brown (ankle) missed Week 5 and Romeo Doubs (shoulder) only played two snaps in Week 6 before exiting. Doubs landed on IR and he will be out tonight, leaving Douglas with an immense role.
In these past two games, Douglas is averaging an elite 3.2 YPRR while handling a 19.7% target share and running a route on 64% of his team’s dropbacks, including a team-high three targets traveling more than 20 yards downfield, and two redzone targets, both of which resulted in touchdowns.
Douglas should see this type of usage again tonight and this is a strong matchup with the Bears giving up the second-most yards per pass this season (7.8). The Patriots rank 12th in PROE and they should throw the ball at a high clip as a three-point underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Douglas should keep it rolling in this spot and he is a great start for both season-long and DFS formats.
