On tap for the second night of the 2026-27 NBA season is a massive 11-game slate. DraftKings continues to offer huge contests for DFS players, and below, I break down some of my favorite NBA DFS options at each position for Wednesday’s NBA action.

Guard
Stud
Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Lakers, $7,500
The Warriors failed to bring in any legitimate help for Curry this season and Golden State is very shorthanded tonight with Jimmy Butler (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (not with the team), Brandin Podziemski (back) and Moses Moody (knee) all out. Curry should be a one-man show in this situation and is way too cheap at only $7,500.
With those four players off the floor last season, Curry scored 1.3 FPTS per minute with a 32% usage rate. The Lakers are likely to be an improved defense with Walker Kessler at center, but Curry should still easily outproduce his price tag and he may get overlooked with many gravitating to the slightly cheaper Darius Garland.
Other Options: Trae Young ($7,800), Darius Garland ($7,000)
Value
Ty Jerome, Memphis Grizzlies vs. Utah Jazz, $6,100
Jerome was awesome last season, scoring 1.5 FPTS per minute with a team-high 32% usage rate. The guard averaged 34.8 FPTS in just 23 minutes per game. Jerome was limited often as he suffered a bad calf strain in preseason, but he is fully healthy now and should log close to 30 minutes on a nightly basis as the Grizzlies’ starting point guard.
Jerome opens the season at home and in an excellent matchup vs. the Jazz, and he should destroy his salary in this spot. Utah ranked second in pace and second-to-last in defensive rating last season, and the Grizzlies are tied for the second-highest implied team total on the slate at 121.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Other Options: Bennedict Mathurin ($4,000), Brandon Williams ($3,900), Dennis Schroder ($3,700)
Forward
Stud
Anthony Davis, Washington Wizards vs. Milwaukee Bucks, $7,600
Davis hasn’t been this cheap on DraftKings since 2019 and he is finally healthy again after he missed most of last season with multiple injuries. Davis produced 1.4 FPTS per minute with a 27% usage rate with the Mavericks last season and he should receive a similar role with the Wizards.
Davis begins his tenure with Washington in an awesome spot tonight, hosting the Bucks, who ranked 26th in defensive rating last season and are likely to be one of the worst teams in the NBA this season after trading Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Heat. At 121.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook, the Wizards are tied for the second-highest implied team total on the slate and Davis should have a big performance in his Wizards debut. The big man played behind an implied team total of 120+ points twice last season and Davis scored 45.25 and 63.25 FPTS in those contests.
Other Options: Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,000), Kawhi Leonard ($7,400)
Value
Gui Santos, Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Lakers, $4,900
Santos ended last season strong, scoring 25+ FPTS in seven of his final 10, and he should see a big role tonight with Butler, Porzingis, Podziemski and Moody all sidelined. With these players off the court last season, Santos generated 1.0 FPTS per minute with a 20% usage rate.
Santos should see over 30 minutes tonight as a starter for the Warriors and he is one of the top values on the slate at only $4,900. In the last 10 he has logged over 30 minutes, Santos is amassing 34.4 FPTS per game.
Other Options: Jaren Jackson Jr. ($6,400), Draymond Green ($4,500), Grayson Allen ($4,300), Obi Toppin ($3,600)
Center
Stud
Domantas Sabonis, Sacramento Kings at Los Angeles Clippers, $7,700
Sabonis is healthy again after his campaign last season was cut short due to a knee injury and he begins this year in a plus spot vs. the Clippers. Los Angeles finished 18th in defensive rating last season and this club is weak up front with Isaiah Jackson and Brook Lopez being the team’s options at center.
Sabonis should have his way in this matchup and he is a great value at only $7,700, as he was priced around $9,000 for most of last season. A year ago, Sabonis averaged 38.3 FPTS in 30 minutes per game with a 23% usage rate.
Other Options: Alperen Sengun ($8,900)
Value
Naz Reid, Charlotte Hornets at Brooklyn Nets, $6,800
After coming off the bench during his seven years with the Timberwolves, Reid is now finally set to see a starting role with the Hornets and his workload should be immense with his team beat up. Kon Knueppel (hamstring), Coby White (calf) and Grant Williams (hamstring) are all out for this season opener vs. the Nets.
Reid should be one of Charlotte’s main scorers tonight and see a usage rate over 20%. The big man should also log nothing less than 30 minutes vs. this Nets team that ranked 25th in defensive rating last season. Reid supplied 1.1 FPTS per minute last season and he brings 40 FPTS upside tonight in his Hornets debut.
Other Options: Zach Edey ($6,500), Day’Ron Sharpe ($5,700), Moussa Diabate ($4,800), Isaiah Jackson ($4,700)
