Week 6 of the NFL is full of great matchups. The player prop market is full of different ways to get in on the action.
Without further ado, here are three of the best player props for NFL Week 6, including plays on Braelon Allen, Drake London and Aaron Rodgers.
Best NFL Player Prop Bets and Picks for Week 6
Steelers at Buccaneers: Aaron Rodgers 2+ Passing Touchdowns (+141)
Aaron Rodgers has thrown for three touchdowns in each of his past three games. Despite that run of form, he is +141 to throw just two touchdowns in this game. The Steelers rank second in the NFL in passing touchdown percentage this season. Aaron Rodgers-led teams have always been towards the top of that list. Rodgers wants the ball in his hands, making the decisions when he gets down in the red zone, and his new (and old) coach Mike McCarthy is willing to give him that power.
The Steelers have thrown for 83.3% of their touchdowns this season. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay has allowed 63.6% of its touchdowns through the air this season. If Pittsburgh is going to find the end zone in this game, it will likely be through the air. Rodgers should hit this mark for the fourth straight game.
Falcons vs. Bears: Drake London Longest Reception Over 29.5 Yards (-107)
Drake London has been unstoppable since Michael Penix Jr. came back at quarterback. London has at least 96 yards in all three games since Penix took over, with an average of 136 yards per game. London now averages 99.6 yards per game in his career with Penix as his quarterback. There is no reason to think the Penix-to-London connection will slow down this week against the Bears. However, the market I’m targeting is on London’s longest reception to go over 29.5 yards.
Drake London has eight 20+-yard receptions this season, the second-most in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Bears are tied for the most 40+-yard receptions allowed this season. The Falcons will use their excellent run game to draw in the Chicago defense, and then hit some deep shots over the top. At home on the fast turf in dome conditions, Penix should be able to connect with London on a pass of 30 yards or more.
Jets at Patriots: Braelon Allen Anytime Touchdown (+125)
Braelon Allen is the Jets’ starting running back for another week while Breece Hall continues to deal with an injury. Allen had a breakout game last week, with a career-high 116 yards in the Jets’ win over the Browns. Allen also found the end zone on what ended up being the game-winning score for the Jets. He has a great chance to score a touchdown for a second straight week against the Patriots.
New England ranks 21st in the NFL in opponent rushing touchdown percentage. It is giving up nearly half of its touchdowns on the ground this season. The Patriots have given up a rushing touchdown to an opposing running back in three straight games. If the Jets are going to get a touchdown on the ground, it will almost certainly come from Allen. The Jets’ backup running back, Isaiah Davis, only had two carries last week. Allen should get basically all of the touches for New York, giving him a great chance to score for the second straight week.
