UPDATE: Samuel has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

With 5:06 left in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel suffered an injury. After taking a handoff and running towards the left sideline, Samuel was tripped by a Seahawks defender and looked to have tweaked something in his right leg, fumbling in the process. After lying on the ground for a minute, Samuel was able to make his way to the bench.

Prior to exiting, Samuel carried twice for four yards while catching two of three targets for 21 yards.

Stay tuned to DraftKings Network for live updates on his injury status.

More on this game

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
