Best College Football Week 6 DFS Picks
Quarterback
Stud
Trinidad Chambliss, Ole Miss at Vanderbilt, $8,700
Trinidad Chambliss has been one of the best quarterbacks in the country this season, picking up where he left off in 2025. Ole Miss has played a tough schedule so far, and this matchup against Vanderbilt is arguably their easiest of the season. Well, other than against Charlotte. The Commodores rank 91st nationally in defensive EPA/play and should really struggle against Chambliss. Last week, Gunner Stockton threw for 295 yards and three touchdowns against Vanderbilt. Chambliss should put up similar numbers and also do damage on the ground, where he has four rushing touchdowns this season.
Value
LaNorris Sellers, South Carolina at Florida, $7,200
LaNorris Sellers has had quite a disappointing season, as South Carolina has started SEC play 0-3. However, he is still putting up some big numbers from a fantasy perspective. Sellers is using his legs a lot, producing consistently on the ground. Excluding a Week 1 blowout of Kent State, Sellers is averaging 97.5 rushing yards per game. He has at least 13 carries in all three SEC games, and should use his legs a lot against the Gators. While the Florida offense has been electric, the defense has real issues, as evidenced in Missouri last week. The Gators rank 120th in the nation in defensive EPA/rush. Sellers should be able to take advantage.
Running Back
Stud
Nate Sheppard, Duke at Georgia Tech, $9,700
This is one of the rare occasions that it’s worth paying for the most expensive player at their given position. Nate Sheppard has been remarkable so far this season. Sheppard ranks third in the nation with 644 rushing yards. He only had nine carries last week against William & Mary and still rushed for 116 yards. Sheppard has also been a weapon in the passing game and has nine total touchdowns on the season. He should feast against Georgia Tech, who ranks 130th in the nation in defensive EPA/play.
Value
Ja’Kyrian Turner, Pittsburgh vs. UNC, $6,400
It has been a rotating backfield in Pittsburgh to start the season. Injuries have played a factor, as well as just going with the hot hand. Ja’Kyrian Turner began the season as the starting running back, but then missed the next three games. He finally returned last week against Virginia Tech and had 103 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. Pittsburgh is now without its starting quarterback Mason Heintschel for the rest of the season. They should rely heavily on their running game with a backup quarterback making his first start of the season. Turner should get a heavy dose of touches against UNC and produce at a high level.
Wide Receiver
Stud
Charlie Becker, Indiana at Nebraska, $7,600
Last season, Charlie Becker was a great weapon for Indiana, but he was behind two 2026 NFL draft picks on the depth chart. This season, Becker is the main man for the Hoosiers. He leads the team in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. Becker has eight receiving touchdowns, the third-most in the nation. He should keep it rolling in this matchup against Nebraska. The Cornhuskers have been excellent to start this season, but they have not faced a serious passing attack yet. The best passing offense they have faced to date is Maryland, whose top wideout, Chris Durr Jr., had seven catches for 149 yards and a touchdown.
Value
Junior Sherrill, Vanderbilt vs. Ole Miss, $5,700
Junior Sherrill is having an excellent season for Vanderbilt. He has been the clear top receiver for the Commodores, with nobody else coming close. He has 28 catches for 474 yards and has caught three of the team’s five passing touchdowns. Sherrill has at least 94 receiving yards in all four games against FBS opponents this season, and should keep that streak going against Ole Miss. The Rebels have struggled defensively, ranking 105th in the nation in defensive EPA/play. Vanderbilt should be able to move the ball against Ole Miss, and Sherrill will play a huge role in that.
