Games Affected by Weather
Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers | High Impact
Sunday 1:00 PM ET –– Acrisure Stadium
Pittsburgh is the most weather-impacted game on the Sunday slate, with rain showers at a 98% probability from late morning through kickoff and showers and thunderstorms at 80% from 2 PM ET to the end of the game. An east wind at 12-13 mph adds a crosswind element on top of the rain, while temperatures climb only from 64°F to 68°F. The thunderstorm component brings a real chance of a lightning delay in the second half.
Cleveland Browns vs. New York Jets | High Impact
Sunday 1:00 PM ET –– MetLife Stadium
East Rutherford opens with rain showers likely at 60% at kickoff, then the probability jumps to 90% from 2 PM ET onward as the steadier rain moves in. Temperatures sit flat at 64-65°F with a southeast wind around 10 mph that turns east late. The rain gets heavier rather than clearing, so the second half carries the greater risk.
New York Giants vs. Washington Commanders | High Impact
Sunday 1:00 PM ET –– Northwest Stadium
Landover sits under rain showers at 99% from late morning through the first quarter before easing only slightly to 83% for the rest of the game. A steady east wind at 13 mph holds for all four hours, and temperatures move from 66°F to 68°F. Expect a wet ball and a soaked field from the opening snap to the final whistle.
Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals | High Impact
Sunday 4:25 PM ET –– State Farm Stadium (Retractable roof, expected closed)
Glendale is forecast for an 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms with patchy blowing dust, a south wind building from 20 mph at kickoff to 25 mph by 5 PM ET, and temperatures in the low 80s. With the State Farm Stadium roof expected to be closed, none of it reaches the field. The rating reflects outdoor conditions only.
Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans | Medium Impact
Sunday 1:00 PM ET –– Nissan Stadium
Nashville carries a 30% chance of rain showers at kickoff that drops to 18% from 2 PM ET onward. A west wind at 10 mph picks up to 15 mph by 4 PM ET as temperatures rise from 69°F to 72°F. Any rain is most likely early, with a drier second half.
Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers | Medium Impact
Sunday 4:05 PM ET –– SoFi Stadium (Open canopy)
Inglewood holds a 40% chance of rain showers for the entire game window with a 15 mph wind that shifts from west-southwest to southwest. Temperatures stay mild at 65-67°F. SoFi’s canopy keeps rain off the field, but the open sides let the wind through.
DFS and Betting Takeaway
Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Near-certain rain plus a 12-13 mph crosswind points to a run-heavy script and real downward pressure on the total. Downgrade deep-ball receivers and long field goal attempts, and factor in that a lightning delay can stall both offenses.
Cleveland Browns vs. New York Jets
With the rain heaviest after halftime, first-half passing props carry less weather drag than full-game numbers. Second-half game flow favors volume backs and short-area targets.
New York Giants vs. Washington Commanders
Four quarters of rain with a steady 13 mph wind tilts this toward the ground game and makes the under worth a look. Ball security matters, and kickers lose range beyond 45 yards.
Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals
The closed roof makes this a climate-controlled game despite the storms and wind outside. No weather adjustment needed, so project it on matchup and pace alone.
Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans
A 30% early shower chance is not enough to overhaul lineups, and conditions improve as the game goes on. The 15 mph wind late is a minor note for kickers in the fourth quarter.
Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers
The canopy limits the rain risk, but a sustained 15 mph wind through the open sides trims the ceiling on deep passing and long kicks. A small nudge toward the under is reasonable.
The other outdoor games look clean, with dry conditions in London, Green Bay, Foxborough and Seattle, and heat near 90°F with only a slight storm chance in Miami.
