One round down, three more to go. Four different Division Series matchups between eight teams will take place on Saturday.
For those looking to cash in quickly on a bet, nothing makes more sense than an NRFI. With that being said, there’s more to this one than meets the eye. Some pitchers thrive early, while others take more time to get settled in than others. Which NRFI picks are worth a closer look on Saturday?
Ahead of today’s Major League Baseball playoff contests, here are two NRFI bets worth placing on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best NRFI Prop Bets Today
| Game | Pitching Matchup |
| Yankees vs. Rays NRFI (-140) | Cole vs. Rasmussen |
| Padres vs. Brewers NRFI (-130) | Ray vs. Misiorowski |
Yankees vs. Rays NRFI (-140)
Gerrit Cole was named this evening’s starter for the Yankees, a move that some fans disagreed with. After all, the Rays tend to hit much better against right-handed pitching. However, that doesn’t guarantee success against one of the American League’s better hurlers. New York’s All-Star has only allowed five earned runs over 18.0 innings of work vs. Tampa Bay this season (2.50 ERA). Even more important, (for the purpose of this bet) he comes into Saturday wielding a terrific 77.3% NRFI rate in 2026. The Rays, while dangerous at the plate, don’t hit many homers. Cole’s biggest issue in recent weeks has been the long ball.
On the other side, it’ll be Drew Rasmussen toeing the slab for Tampa Bay. In a league filled with standout arms, he might be the most slept-on. Through 172.0 innings of work (30 starts), he’s notched a 2.67 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 174 strikeouts (9.1 K/9). Even more impressive, he comes into today’s matchup on a 13-game NRFI streak. That’s bad news for the Yankees, a team that hasn’t done much in this spot previously. Rasmussen has allowed two earned runs or less in four of his previous five meetings with New York. To boot, this Pinstripes lineup is tied for the league’s sixth-lowest YRFI rate on the road (23.46%).
Padres vs. Brewers NRFI (-130)
A red-hot Padres squad now hands the ball to midseason pickup Robbie Ray. The former Cy Young winner hasn’t been great since joining his new club (5.02 ERA), but he’s a proven postseason arm. To boot, he comes into today’s game sporting an impressive 80.0% NRFI rate. Ray has allowed a first inning run only twice over his last ten appearances. Milwaukee rosters a capable group of contact-oriented hitters. Still, this isn’t an insurmountable challenge for San Diego’s southpaw. The Brewers have a .705 OPS against left-handed pitching, only good enough for 14th in the majors.
As for Milwaukee, it’ll be none other than Jacob Misiorowski on the bump. The presumptive NL Cy Young winner comes into this one with plenty of momentum. Over 174.2 innings pitched (30 starts), he’s delivered a 1.80 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 252 strikeouts (13.0 K/9). Unsurprisingly, the fireballer comes into this one with a phenomenal 80.0% NRFI rate. The Padres have looked like a different lineup since the start of September. Still, this offense usually takes some time to get it going. San Diego has a National League-worst 25.0% NRFI rate this season.
