Steelers vs. Browns NFL DFS Value Picks for Thursday Night Football

The Browns are hosting the Steelers for an NFL Week 4 matchup on Thursday Night Football. DraftKings Sportsbook favors Pittsburgh by 2.5 points, with the game carrying a total of 38.5 points.

DraftKings is offering some huge Showdown contests for this matchup. Below, I have featured two of my favorite NFL DFS value plays to consider for this Showdown slate.

Steelers vs. Browns NFL DFS Value Picks for Thursday Night Football

WR KC Concepcion, Cleveland Browns ($9,600 CPT, $6,400 FLEX)

Concepcion is coming off his worst game of the season, catching only two of nine targets for nine yards against the Panthers (2.9 FPTS). Still, his workload was the largest it’s been thus far. Concepcion led the Browns with a 29% target share and a 94.7% route rate, both season highs for the rookie wideout.

Concepcion’s route rate and number of targets have increased week over week. This appears to be by design, and Cleveland’s first-round pick out of Texas A&M should be a full-time player moving forward.

Concepcion is averaging a low 4.1 aDOT and 0.99 YPPR, but he leads the Browns with a 22.9% target share and should see 5-10 targets in primetime. The Steelers are an average matchup, allowing the 10th-most yards per pass attempt this season (7.8), but Concepcion is underpriced for his role and a clear value for this Showdown slate.

TE Darnell Washington, Pittsburgh Steelers ($5,400 CPT, $3,600 FLEX)

Washington was productive in the Steelers’ Week 3 win over the Bengals, hauling in three of his four targets for 67 yards. With the expanded role, the tight end posted a season-high 9.7 FPTS.

Washington saw an 11.8% target share and a 48.6% route rate, both season highs. Given the 25-year-old was effective in this big win for the Steelers, Washington should continue to receive a solid role against the Browns, giving him decent upside relative to his cheap salary.

Washington is averaging 15.3 YPR and 1.9 YPPR, both of which rank top-20 among the tight ends who have seen 5+ targets this season. Washington can score double-digit FPTS, and he shouldn’t come with much ownership.
