What happened to Alec Pierce? Live injury updates for Colts vs. Chiefs on Sunday 9/20/26

UPDATE: Pierce has been ruled out for the remainder of the game due to a left heel injury.

Late in the first quarter of Sunday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Alec Pierce injured his ankle while running a route. He looked to have suffered the injury while planting his left leg while attempting to come back towards the sideline. It’s the same ankle he had surgery on.

Pierce has been carted off to the locker room.

Prior to exiting, Pierce caught his lone target for 11 yards.
