UPDATE: Stribling was carted off the field.

In the first quarter of Thursday’s game between the 49ers and Rams, rookie WR De’Zhaun Stribling suffered an ankle injury. It’s unknown when the injury occurred, but he was officially listed as questionable to return. The rookie returned to the game, but in the second quarter he went down again and was helped off the field by trainers to the blue tent.

Stribling came into his rookie season with a lot of hype due to his preseason performances, but he failed to record a target before the injury.
