Sunday’s Major League Baseball schedule is stacked in the afternoon with a couple of later games to finish out the weekend. The Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox meet in the final game of their AL Central series in the traditional Sunday Night Baseball game. First pitch is a little earlier than normal at 6:20 p.m. ET on NBC/Peacock, and it should be an exciting contest between two teams fighting for a playoff spot. Let’s dive into the matchup and take a look at my top three best bets from the player prop market in this Sunday Night Baseball matchup.
Overall, the White Sox are solid home favorites at -150 on the Moneyline, and they are getting 74% of the bets on the Moneyline as of Sunday afternoon. The over/under is 8.5 runs, with 58% of the bets on the over.

Twins at White Sox Prop Bets for Sunday 9/7/26
Bailey Ober over 1.5 Walks (-107)
Ober will make the start for the Twins, while the White Sox will turn to Bryan Hudson as an opener and Jose Urquidy in a bulk reliever role. It will be Ober’s second straight start against the White Sox, after he earned a no-decision last week while allowing two runs in five innings with five strikeouts. He issued two walks in that outing, going over this prop line.
In the season, Ober has 31 walks in 21 starts, averaging 1.5 walks per game. He has issued multiple walks in each of his last two starts and in four of his last eight. Ober has been fairly effective overall, allowing just four earned runs in his last three starts combined. He has struggled with his command, though, and hasn’t worked deep into games lately.
The White Sox rank in the top 10 in the MLB in both walks and walk rate this season, averaging 3.6 walks per game. They worked two walks against Ober last week, and as a result of the matchup, I like the over on Ober’s walks as my top White Sox-Twins player prop from the starting pitchers.
Colson Montgomery 2+ Total Bases (+138)
Lefties have done most of the damage against Ober this season, and Montgomery has been hitting the ball very well over the last few weeks.
Lefties against Ober have a .324 wOBA and .452 SLG as a result of an 11.1% barrel rate this season. Montgomery is 1-for-4 against the Twins’ righty in their past meetings, with his one hit leaving the yard against Ober last season.
Montgomery has homered in each of the first two games in this series as well, giving him 31 homers on the year. He’s only hitting .213 on the year but has 223 total bases in 134 games, for an average of 1.7 total bases per game. Montgomery has gone over this prop line in four of his last six games and eight of his last 18.
In a good spot against Ober, he has a good chance to deliver multiple total bases with either a double, a homer, or a couple of singles. With multiple paths to success, I like this prop a little more than taking Montgomery to go yard for a third straight game.
Luke Keaschall 3+ Hits + Runs + RBI (+194)
The Twins offense has been paced by Keaschall out of the leadoff spot since mid-August, when he moved into the role. He went 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored to total four HRR (hits, runs and RBI) on Saturday, and he has posted at least three HRR in five of his last eight contests to go over this prop line.
In his last 20 games, Keaschall has 28 hits, 13 runs scored and nine RBI to average 2.5 HRR per contest over that stretch. He has a .337 batting average and .411 wOBA with a .205 ISO.
The 24-year-old righty has been a contact-first prospect, and he’s doing a great job getting on base at the top of the lineup. If the Twins are able to get to the White Sox bullpen on Sunday for multiple runs on Sunday Night Baseball, Keaschall will likely be right in the middle of the production once again, and getting 3+ HRR at almost 2:1 odds is great value.
