What happened to Trey Yesavage? Live injury updates for Blue Jays vs. Astros on 8/4/26

Tough break for Blue Jays fans on Tuesday. Stud young pitcher Trey Yesavage appeared to hurt himself while warming up for the third inning. He was forced to leave the game.

Before exiting, Yesavage pitched two scoreless innings, issuing one walk and allowing no hits. Coming into the game, the 23-year-old rookie had a 3.73 ERA through 17 starts. With Toronto’s playoff chances all but toast, the Blue Jays will be awfully cautious about any injury to their young starter.
