Heading into the final stretch of Love Island UK Season 13, there is still plenty of drama left to settle. Love Island UK Episode 61 Recap 7/27/26
Priya and Aidan, Julia and Lorenzo, Mica and Samraj opened the episode at risk of going home after the islanders voted amongst themselves earlier that night. Priya told Aidan she understood why they were on the chopping block. Aidan didn’t deny being theoretically open to Yasmin, so Priya said she is wondering whether or not she is wasting her time with him. Later on, Samraj straight up asked Aidan if he was actually interested in Priya or if he was putting on a show to stay on the show longer. Kavan stood up for his brother, but Aidan admitted he is still waiting to see if there is a spark there.
Simba continued to defend Julia from the rest of the islanders, given that he had also been public enemy No. 1 earlier in the summer. Tommy had to defend himself to Yasmin since he hadn’t told her that he had a girlfriend up until two weeks before he arrived at the Villa.
The next morning, Julia thanked Simba for taking her side. Jasmine told Kavan and Aidan that she sympathized with Julia too, while the brothers said they started to realize how fake everyone had been the whole time. Priya seemed to smooth things over with Julia despite their contrasting opinions, while Yasmin accepted what happened with Tommy and his ex.
Priya confronted Aidan about his podcast appearance one more time, eventually forcing him to make a decision. He said he didn’t want to ruin their friendship by continuing to push for a romantic spark, so they ultimately went their separate ways.
Lorenzo got a text telling everyone to get ready for their very special dinner. Simba got a text that interrupted the sappy moments, however, followed by Jasmine and Kavan getting more texts teasing the results of the public vote. Priya and Aidan got the fewest votes for who fans wanted to save. The same day that they decided they were breaking it off, they had to pack their bags and head home.
Next time – following an Unseen Bits episode, that is – islanders from throughout the season will return to the villa to stir up some more drama in the home stretch.
