It’s only fitting for Saturday Night Live’s annual Halloween special to be hosted by the biggest breakout star in horror.
Actress Inde Navarrette hosts SNL on October 31, with musical guest Gracie Abrams.
Navarrette, 25, heads to Studio 8H for the first time, fresh off her celebrated performance as Nikki Freeman in the horror smash hit Obsession.
Directed by YouTuber Curry Barker, Obsession follows a socially awkward young man who uses the supernatural “One Wish Willow” to force his coworker to fall in love with him — only for her manufactured affection to manifest in terrifying, dangerous ways. The film was an unexpected box-office marvel, grossing over $521 million worldwide on a $750,000 budget, and it launched its leading actress into superstardom.
This summer, Marvel Studios officially announced Navarrette as Rogue in its upcoming X-Men film. And a few months later, she’s hosting SNL.
Gracie Abrams will make her second appearance as an SNL musical guest, after debuting during Season 50 in December 2024. The Grammy-nominated indie-pop artist, 27, returns to 30 Rock ahead of the November 20 release of her upcoming project, Daughter from Hell (Deluxe), the expanded edition of her third studio album.
