It’s All-Star Weekend in the WNBA, meaning the league’s best and brightest stars are set for a showcase. With two squads of elite players drafted by team GMs Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon, fans are in for a treat once they take the floor in Chicago on Saturday night.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Team Weatherspoon enters as a 4.5-point favorite with -195 odds on the Moneyline. Team Cooper is a +155 underdog to win outright. Finally, the game total sits at 275.5 combined points.
It’s no stunner that Team Weatherspoon holds a bit of an advantage at first glance. Both of these rosters are loaded with talent, but this group is headlined by multi-time MVP A’ja Wilson, who leads the WNBA and the Aces in scoring with 25.6 points per game while also pitching in 9.6 boards and 3.5 stocks. She’s joined by Fever standout Caitlin Clark, who averages 20.7 points and 7.8 dimes. That’s quite the superstar duo, but Lynx rookie Olivia Miles brings her own flair with 19.3 points, 6.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds per outing in a breakout campaign. There’s even more talent in this group beyond its top three picks, but they will face a challenge from the competitors.
Team Cooper’s top pick was leading All-Star vote earner Paige Bueckers, the Wings superstar posting 20.9 points and 6.2 dimes a night while leading her franchise to a 17-9 record. The young guard is complemented by future Hall-of-Famer Breanna Stewart, who’s led the way for the Liberty with 21.1 points and 8.6 boards per outing. Kelsey Mitchell also gets the chance to go head-to-head against her Fever teammate, bringing 23.3 points with elite efficiency to the table.
Of course, the game total may seem a bit inflated at first glance, but fear not. Last year, the All-Star Game ended with 282 combined points; in 2023, the contest finished with 270 points between the two sides. In typical fashion for this kind of midseason exhibition, offense is clearly the name of the game.
Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 25 at Chicago’s United Center.
