First pitch of Tuesday’s game between the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets is scheduled for just after 7 p.m. ET. However, the Jays will be without a foundational piece of their lineup for this one.

First baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been scratched from tonight’s lineup due to back tightness. Luis Urias joins the lineup in his stead, with several infielders shifting positions.

The standout first baseman is slashing a solid .268/.347/.348 this season, though his .695 OPS has declined recently and is now the lowest of his eight-year pro career. He’s posted 80 hits, 34 RBI and 45 runs with just four homers on the campaign. Despite the rough performance, he remains a key every-day contributor in Toronto’s lineup.

The Blue Jays are -106 underdogs on DraftKings Sportsbook at home today vs. the Mets.

Overall, Toronto is 40-45 this year, good for third in the AL East picture.
