What happened to Juan Soto? Live injury updates for Tigers vs. Mets on 5/13/26

UPDATE: X-rays on Soto’s ankle were negative. He is day-to-day.

Mets superstar Juan Soto left Wednesday’s game against the Detroit Tigers in the bottom of the seventh inning. He fouled a ball off his foot in the third inning but remained in the contest until later being replaced by MJ Melendez.

Before exiting, Soto went 0-for-3 with a strikeout.

Since Soto had at least two plate appearances during the game, he will not be eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
