AEW Dynamite Match Card for Wednesday (April 1, 2026)
Here’s a look at what’s on tap for tonight’s AEW Dynamite card in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada!
PAC vs. Will Ospreay – Singles Match
Ospreay looked like his old self two weeks ago, when he made his in-ring return against Blake Christian. Last week, Ospreay didn’t wrestle, but instead issued a challenge to not one, but two members of the Death Riders. Ospreay challenged PAC to a match, which was accepted. If you recall, these two had one hell of a match back in 2024 at All Out for the International Title. Ospreay was able to score the victory in a match that is absolutely worth going back and watching. These two should put on another banger that should feel like a steal on free television.
As for his second challenge, Ospreay laid out the challenge to Jon Moxley at AEW Dynasty. If you recall, it was The Death Riders that shelved Ospreay for over six months, attacking him after AEW Forbidden Door in 2025. Ospreay, Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli were locked in a cage after their match and beat the living hell out of Ospreay. The attack concluded with Moxley delivering a stomp to the back of Ospreay’s neck, which was wedged in between a steel chair.
I fully expect Ospreay to grab the victory here as he looks toward his match with Moxley at Dynasty.
Will Ospreay vs. PAC Prediction: Will Ospreay scores the victory
“Jungle” Jack Perry, Brody King, Kenny Omega vs. The Demand – Trios Match
These six participants have been jawing back and forth at each other all throughout the week, leading to this match. In some shape or form, all six men have some history as of late, which will culminate in this match. Overall, it doesn’t feel as if this will lead to much in the immediate future, unless we see Ricochet score a pinfall victory over Perry, and thus demanding another match for the AEW National Title.
“Jungle” Jack Perry, Brody King, Kenny Omega vs. The Demand Prediction: “Jungle” Jack Perry, Brody King, Kenny Omega secure the victory
Mina Shirakawa & The Brawling Birds vs. Triangle of Madness – Trios Match
Our second Trios match of the night will feature the AEW Women’s Champion, Thekla, alongside Julia Hart and Skye Blue, taking on Mina Shirakawa & The Brawling Birds. With Dynasty only a couple of weeks away, this feels like a perfect opportunity to solidify a match between Shirakawa and Thekla at AEW Dynasty. As you recall, Toni Storm is set to miss the rest of 2026 and Shirakawa has led the way in finding out who did it. Thekla has claimed innocence but has suggested Storm fabricated the attack to avoid facing her.
This feels like a spot where Shirakawa potentially sneaks a pinfall victory over Thekla (or one of the other members) and earns her spot for the AEW Women’s Championship. It also continues to protect The Brawling Birds, who continue to solidify themselves in the women’s tag team division.
Mina Shirakawa & The Brawling Birds vs. Triangle of Madness Prediction: Shirakawa earns the win for her team and a shot at the AEW Women’s Title
MJF & Kenny Omega sign the contract for their AEW World Title Match at AEW Dynasty
