Matchweek 31 of the Premier League continues on Saturday as Liverpool travel to take on Brighton in a game that sees fifth place take on 12th.

Liverpool are +120 favorites on the moneyline for this one on DraftKings Sportsbook, with a draw available at +265. Fancy a Brighton upset? The Seagulls are +210 to pick up three points.

Brighton vs. Liverpool Prediction, Pick

Liverpool enter this game off the back of a huge win in the Champions League to book their spot in the quarterfinals. Until then, they have business to take care of in the Premier League. The race to get into next season’s UCL is heating up, as the Reds are only a single point ahead of sixth-placed Chelsea. With only eight games to go, every point is crucial from now until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Brighton are in no-man’s-land in the table. They sit in 12th position and are nowhere near the relegation battle. Looking up the table, they also seem to be too far behind to qualify for European football next season. They are one of the few teams in the table who aren’t really fighting for much, as most teams are in a race for the title, top five, other European places or relegation.

Liverpool have gotten the better of this fixture in recent seasons. They’ve won five of the last six games against the Seagulls in all competitions, including beating them twice already this season in the league and FA Cup.

The Reds are the better team, have more to play for and have recent success in this fixture. I’m backing them to pick up the three points in Brighton on Saturday.

The Pick: Liverpool Moneyline (+120)
