Several matches have now been announced for this week’s show, including Will Ospreay vs. Blake Christian, Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir in a No Holds Barred match, and Darby Allin vs. Gabe Kidd in a Coffin Match, as AEW begins addressing the fallout from Revolution.

AEW Dynamite Match Card for Tonight (March 18, 2026)
Will Ospreay vs. Blake Christian – Singles Match
Tuesday night, Tony Khan posted on X that Will Ospreay, who made his return at AEW Revolution, will be in action against Blake Christian. This marks Ospreay’s first match since August 24, 2025, when he competed in the Lights Out Steel Cage match at Forbidden Door. After that match, the Death Riders took him out with a brutal post-match beatdown, leading to neck surgery in September 2025.
As we saw at Revolution, Ospreay clearly has no restrictions. He was flipping and flying all over the ring like he hadn’t missed a step. This match should reinforce that he’s fully healthy and ready to return to a full schedule. AEW did a great job elevating other stars during his absence, and his return only adds more depth to the roster.

Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir – No Holds Barred Match
At AEW Revolution, Storm was able to snag the victory over Shafir in a solid match. After the win, Storm was laying on the ramp doing her signature American Beauty-esque pose when suddenly, Ronda Rousey appeared in an AEW ring. It was a shocking moment, as rumors about her involvement hadn’t even really surfaced before the event. Rousey has a well-documented relationship with Shafir, so the connection immediately made sense.
Following the match, both Shafir and Rousey were shown hyping up Jon Moxley before his match against Konosuke Takeshita. That obviously raises the question: is Rousey now a part of the Death Riders, or was this simply a one-time appearance? Don’t forget, Rousey is also scheduled to make her MMA return in May against Gina Carano under the Most Valuable Promotions banner.
As for this match, the No Holds Barred stipulation definitely favors Shafir. Storm picked up the clean wrestling win at Revolution, but this type of chaotic environment plays more into Shafir’s strengths. Quite frankly, this could also be a way to set up something bigger involving Rousey and Storm depending on where AEW wants to go next.

Gabe Kidd vs. Darby Allin – Coffin Match
With AEW Revolution being as stacked as it was, it’s easy to gloss over some of the mid-card matches if you didn’t watch (which, by the way, means you missed out on one of AEW’s best overall PPVs). In a loss that I honestly didn’t see coming, The Dogs were beaten by the team of Darby Allin, Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy. I’m certainly not worried about The Dogs’ future, but I was at least expecting them to pick up an early PPV win. Nonetheless, revenge is happening on Dynamite this week, in my opinion.
Kidd laid out the challenge for this match during the AEW Revolution Media Scrum after the show. He fully took advantage of the fact that it wasn’t on TV, as I believe he dropped at least 15 F-bombs during his rant. After telling half the universe to F-off, including Allin, Kidd challenged him to a Coffin Match for this week’s Dynamite.
If you recall, Kidd has said multiple times that he won’t be done with Allin until he’s “pushing up daisies.” Well, this is the perfect match to match that analogy. I’m fully expecting this to be an all-out war that probably involves multiple men from both sides. Allin has the only singles victory between the two, as they’ve now crossed paths multiple times in tag and trios matches. I think Kidd earns a big win here on Dynamite.
