The NBA has six games on the schedule throughout the day this Saturday. The first matchup of the day is a matinee matchup in Minneapolis, MN, where the Minnesota Timberwolves welcome the Orlando Magic in a matchup of teams looking to make a playoff push. As both teams push for potential playoff spots, each side has some compelling storylines — along with strong player prop bets to build around.
The Timberwolves are 6.5-point home favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the game total set at 225.5 points.
The Timberwolves have a better record at 40-23 than the Magic at 33-28. Minnesota has won eight of its last nine games, including five straight, and now sits at No. 3 in the Western Conference. On the other side, the Magic are No. 8 in the Eastern Conference after going 2-2 in their four-game homestand. They edged out the Mavs by one point on Thursday in their last game, when Wendell Carter Jr. made the go-ahead dunk with 1.4 seconds remaining.
Looking at the injury report, the Magic will remain without Franz Wagner and listed Jonathan Isaac as questionable. On the other side, Kyle Anderson is questionable for the Timberwolves but otherwise the rotation should be fairly typical as they look to continue their recent run.
Magic at Timberwolves Best Prop Bets
Desmond Bane o20.5 Points (-114)
Bane has been picking up more work lately for Orlando with Franz Wagner still out and Anthony Black also recently missing some time. His season average is 20.2 points per game, but in his last 12 games, he has produced 24.7 points per game and has gone over this prop line in nine of those 12 games.
On Thursday against the Mavs, Bane only had 14 points on 5-of-13 from the field, but he was much better with 25 points against the Wizards in the previous game. In three road games, Bane had 22 points against the Lakers, 36 points against the Clippers and 34 points against the Suns. He’ll look to have another big game against a Western Conference foe on Saturday afternoon in Minnesota.
He hasn’t faced the Wolves yet with the Magic, but he had over this prop line in each of the three times he faced them in 2025 when he was with the Grizzlies.

Jaden McDaniels 20+ Points + Rebounds (+143)
McDaniels has been a big part of the Timberwolves’ success this season, and he is averaging 15.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in his 61 games this season. Playing the standard over/under at over 17.5 points plus rebounds is a safer play at -115, but I think this is a great spot to be aggressive and get some plus-money odds in the mix.
McDaniels did have a quiet game on Thursday with just eight points and two rebounds in 21 minutes against Toronto. However, he had 19+ points plus rebounds in five straight games before that and went over this alternate line of 20+ points plus rebounds in 10 of his last 13 full games.
While facing off with Bane, Paolo Banchero and the Magic’s tough defense isn’t an easy matchup, these odds bring way too much value for McDaniels based on his growing role in the offense and his upside both scoring and on the boards this Saturday.
Tristan da Silva o7.5 Points (-103)
The Magic have been getting solid play from da Silva while they’ve been dealing with all their injuries. The first-round pick from Germany in the 2024 draft is having a solid second season in the NBA, averaging 9.1 points in 23.4 minutes per game.
After the All-Star break, da Silva returned to the starting lineup for a stretch and went over this prop line in five straight outings before returning to the bench on Thursday. Moving to the second unit didn’t slow him down much, though, as he made all seven of his shots from the field and cruised to 19 points in 25 minutes in Orlando’s win.
Even if he’s coming off the bench, da Silva should get enough opportunities to go over this very attainable scoring prop line on Saturday afternoon.

Dosunmu has been a great fit since joining the Wolves at the trade deadline, but he has come in under this prop line in seven of his last 10 games. He has shown he can post big rebounds and assist numbers, but it doesn’t seem like his priority in his current role for Minnesota.
