With 8:05 left in the second quarter of Thursday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Tre Johnson was replaced by Kyshawn George. A few minutes earlier, Johnson hoisted a step-back jumper near the left baseline but injured his ankle on the landing after the closeout by Ryan Rollins. Johnson has now been ruled out for the remainder of the game. Bilal Coulibaly started the second half for Johnson.

Prior to exiting, Johnson contributed eight points and two assists in 11 minutes of action. Bub Carrington would likely be the biggest beneficiary with Johnson sidelined.

Washington has a back-to-back tomorrow against the Los Angeles Lakers then host the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
