Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Ole Miss Rebels NCAAM prediction, pick for Wednesday 1/7/26

The No. 15-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks look to extend their winning streak to three games when they face the Ole Miss Rebels at 9:00 p.m. ET. Arkansas is 11-3 while Ole Miss is 8-6 this season. Here is my best bet for tonight’s game between Arkansas and Ole Miss. Arkansas is a -3.5-point favorite with Ole Miss being a +160 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Arkansas vs. Ole Miss (9:00 p.m. ET)

Arkansas has one of the best backcourts in college basketball, featuring star freshman duo Darius Acuff Jr. and Meleek Thomas. Acuff averages 19.5 points, six assists, and three rebounds per game while shooting 50 percent from the field and 44.4 percent on three-pointers. He is coming off his season high of 29 points in an 86-75 victory over No. 19 Tennessee.

Thomas averages 15.4 points but has scored 18 and 28 in his last two. When Acuff and Thomas are at their best, they are as good as any backcourt in the sport. After losing by 11 points to Houston on December 20, Arkansas has won back-to-back games by 29 and 11 points. Arkansas is 6-1 in its last seven contests. All three of the Razorbacks’ losses this season have come away from home.

Ole Miss lost by 16 points to Oklahoma on Saturday and has now lost two of its past three games. They have struggled on offense lately, scoring under 80 points in nine of their past 10 games. As a team, the Rebels only average 74.3 points and have the 93rd-best offensive rating on KenPom. Malik Dia leads the Rebels in scoring with 14.6 per game. AJ Storr and Ilias Kamardine are the only two other Ole Miss players scoring 10-plus points per game.

Arkansas has won 10 of its 11 games this season by at least four points. Acuff and Thomas are the two best players in this contest and have a good matchup against Ole Miss. Arkansas has won three of its last four games against ranked opponents and is well prepared heading into tonight’s game. The Rebels’ last two losses were to unranked teams, NC State and Oklahoma. After losing to those two teams, Ole Miss will likely struggle against a much more talented Arkansas team.

College Basketball Pick: Arkansas -3.5 (-118)
