Sunday’s loaded NFL Week 7 slate features a marquee matchup in the NFC North between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions at Ford Field, with kickoff set for 4:25 p.m. ET.

The Packers (4–2) are climbing back into the NFC North division race following last week’s 23-13 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. On the other side, the Lions (3-2) bounced back after an tough loss to the Panthers with a blowout win over the Cardinals. Heading into this week, both teams are looking to build on this recent momentum and remain in the thick of the NFC playoff picture.

The Lions are 3.5-point home favorites with the game total set at 54.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Let’s dive into the top player prop bets for Sunday’s clash between the Packers and Lions.

Packers vs. Lions NFL Player Prop Bets

Jordan Love over 284.5 passing yards (-113)

While the Packers had a pretty rocky start to the season, much of those struggles were not the fault of Jordan Love. The Green Bay quarterback accrued well over 800 yards through the air over the first three weeks, while tallying six touchdowns passes to just two interceptions. Love wasn’t perfect by any means, but much of Green Bay’s struggles were due to injuries on the offensive line and its lack of ability to run the ball with any sort of consistency.

The Packers still aren’t a great running team by any means, but the passing game has taken a step forward in recent weeks. Love is completing about 70% of his passes over the last three weeks and he’s averaged 280 yards through the air in those victories. Not only is this Green Bay passing offense rounding into form, but the Packers are playing against a Lions defense that is one of the worst in football against the pass.

Detroit’s defense has allowed quarterbacks to throw for at least 292 yards in all but one game this season, and there’s a reason the Lions sit at 28th in EPA per pass and passing success rate allowed per SumerSports. In a game with a total into the 50s, it wouldn’t shock me in the least if this one turned into a shootout. With that in mind, I’ll target Love to exceed his passing yards prop against a porous Detroit secondary.

Sam LaPorta Anytime TD (+140)

After battling through injuries a season ago, Sam LaPorta has returned to his All-Pro caliber form in 2026. The Lions tight end has already recorded 27 receptions over the first five games and what’s more impressive has been his 37 targets over that same span. LaPorta has consistently been a top red zone target for Jared Goff over his first four seasons in the NFL, and his 23 touchdowns speak to that.

The Iowa product has found the end zone in three of his last four games played, including in each of the last two weeks against the Panthers and Cardinals. Green Bay boasts a significantly better pass defense than those two teams, but LaPorta has seen success in this matchup in previous years. The Lions have routinely been involved in shootouts this season, which makes an anytime touchdown wager on one of Detroit’s best players a decent proposition at plus-money odds.
