NBA Best Bets: Knicks at Spurs Prop Bets for Wednesday 12/31/25

After some fun afternoon contests, the NBA has five matchups on the main slate Wednesday night to close out 2025. In one of the marquee matchups, we get a rematch of the NBA Cup Championship as the New York Knicks visit the San Antonio Spurs. Both sides offer plenty of strong options to consider for today’s player prop bets available from DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Spurs will be looking to avenge their loss in the NBA Cup Championship, but they have dropped back-to-back games to the Jazz and Cavs. The Knicks have won three in a row and come in at 23-9, which exactly matches the Spurs’ record through 32 games.

Overall, the Spurs are 2.5-point home favorites, while the game total is set at 235.5 points. When the two played just over two weeks ago, the Knicks won, 124-113.

Let’s take a look at this rematch and pinpoint my top three player prop bets for Wednesday night’s contest.

Knicks at Spurs Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Jalen Brunson over 10.5 Rebounds + Assists (-102)

Brunson is primarily known for his scoring, but his non-scoring numbers have been excellent lately, and with Josh Hart (ankle) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) sidelined, he could have more work to do in rebounding and assists.

Brunson is averaging 3.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists for 9.9 Rebounds + Assists on the season, but he has been stepping up his production lately with at least 11 rebounds and assists in seven of his last 10 games.

He had 13 rebounds and assists in his last game on Monday, and he had 12 rebounds and assists in the first matchup between these teams.

Victor Wembanyama 25 points (+100)

Wemby and the Spurs haven’t lost three games in a row all season, and I expect the big man to put up a big game after being limited in the first matchup between these teams.

In that game, he only played 25 minutes and had 18 points off the bench. He’s been ramping up more lately playing over 25 minutes in three straight games and producing 19, 26 and 32 points in those three matchups.

The offense is starting to shift more to going through him, and he’s coming off back-to-back games over this point total. As he continues to get back to full strength, I love getting his points at this prop line. With other members of his team dealing with injury (more below), he should have more usage available as well.

Karl-Anthony Towns under 35.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-106)

KAT has had a few huge games lately, and when he goes over this number, he typically goes way, way over, which skews his averages slightly high. On the season, he’s averaging 36.5 PRA (points, rebounds and assists) per game, but I like him to be under 35.5 in this matchup, especially with Wemby patrolling the paint.

KAT had 28 PRA in the first matchup between these teams, which is one of the seven times in his last 10 games he has come in under this PRA prop line. He went off for 54 PRA and 52 PRA in two of his last four games, but he only had 26 and 28 PRA in his other two contests.

With Jalen Brunson doing most of the heavy lifting on offense, Towns still brings a very high ceiling, but he is under this prop line more often than not in his recent contests. Since the Spurs have pretty solid frontcourt defense, I think they’ll keep him in check on Wednesday night as well.

Bonus Parlay Pick: Julian Champagnie over 4.5 rebounds (-147)

With Devin Vassell (adductor) out and Stephon Castle (thumb) questionable, Champagnie should be more involved on the wings. He has gone over this prop line in four straight games and in eight of his last 11, so with some extra minutes, this should be a low-risk way to boost your parlay.

If you’re looking to use these props to create a Same Game Parlay (SGP) or as part of an SGPx, adding in the over on Champagnie’s boards takes you to a solid  +1000, as you can see below.
