The NBA has six games on the scoreboard this Sunday night, and in the late game the Houston Rockets roll into Sacramento to take on the Kings at the Golden 1 Center. The Western Conference matchup should be a nice capstone on a big sports Sunday, with tipoff at 10:10 p.m. ET. Let’s hunt down a few player prop bets from this matchup to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook to close out Sunday’s action.
In the big picture, the Kings are 11.5-point home underdogs, with the game total set at a below-average 223.5. On December 3, the Rockets won the first matchup between these teams in Houston, 121-95.
The Wolves have surged lately, winning eight of his last 10 games to climb to 18-10 on the season. They’ve played their last three games at home and have two more home games before going on the road later this week. On the other hand, the Bucks have been sinking fast, going 3-12 in their last 15 games to enter this matchup 11-17.
This will be the first matchup between these teams on the season, so let’s break down the trends and find a few of my top player prop bets for this fun Sunday night contest:
Rockets vs. Kings Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Kevin Durant over 24.5 Points (-117)
Let’s not get too cute with this first pick of the night. Durant is an elite scorer in a favorable matchup, and he’s been taking on more of the offense lately, so getting him to reach 25 points at almost even money is a great value to begin with.
Durant is averaging 25.4 points per game this season, and he has gone over this prop line in seven of his last nine games, including each of his last three games with 25 points, 32 points and 31 points in the first three games on the Rockets current road trip.
Against the Kings, Durant had 24 points earlier this season, but he has 25+ points in 11 of his last 13 matchups against the Kings, including each of his last seven games in Sacramento, dating back to 2018.
If the Kings can keep this game close, it will actually give Durant more of a shot to go over this scoring line since the main reason he would come up short would be if the game turned into a blowout.
Maxime Raynaud over 21.5 Points + Rebounds (-117)
Raynaud has stepped up big-time for the Kings while Domantas Sabonis (knee) has been sidelined. The rookie second-rounder from France has started the last six games for the Kings and has been one of the few bright spots in a tough season.
The 22-year-old is averaging 16.3 points and 7.9 rebounds for 24.2 points and rebounds over his last nine games. He has gone over this prop line in six of those nine games with 21 points and rebounds in one of the games his finished just under this mark.
The first time these teams met, Raynaud had 25 points and six rebounds for 31 points and rebounds in 32 minutes. The Rockets usually play big, which will force the Kings into more minutes for Maxime, if the rookie can avoid foul trouble.
Raynaud is coming off 40 and 38 points and rebounds in his last two games against the Blazers, so you can be much more aggressive and play this as a ladder, using 25+ points and rebounds at +163 and 30+ points and rebounds at a juicy +461.
Steven Adams over 5.5 rebounds (-132)
Adams isn’t scoring a ton of points, but the Big Kiwi continues to be a great source of rebounds and hold together a rugged Rockets interior. I love getting him to snag at least six boards at this price on Sunday night.
In his last two games, Adamas pulled in 10 rebounds against the Pelicans and 12 rebounds against the Nuggets. He has gone over this prop line in 15 of his last 16 games, even though he hasn’t played a ton of minutes in some of those games.
He only played 18 minutes against the Kings in their first meeting, but he quickly had eight rebounds.
Since he dominates the glass when he’s on the floor, this is a strong option, and if you want to be more aggressive him to get 8+ rebounds at +250 seems extremely well-priced as well.
Bonus Parlay Pick: Nique Clifford over 7.5 points (-121)
If you’re looking to use these props to create a Same Game Parlay (SPG) or an SPGx, one other leg I would consider to sweeten the odds would be tossing in Clifford’s over in points to take the four-leg SGP up to +950, as you can see below.
Clifford is averaging only 4.6 points per game, but the No. 24 overall pick from the 2025 NBA Draft has gotten more work in the last two games while Zach LaVine (ankle) has been out. In the two games since then, Clifford had eight points and 12 points in back-to-back losses to the Blazers. He tied his season high with 11 field goal attempts, and if he stays so aggressive, he should be able to deliver over this prop line.
