Sunday night features a few fun inter-conference matchups tipping off at 7:00 p.m. ET, including a matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Minnesota Timberwolves. With plenty of star power and interesting options on both sides of the matchup, there are plenty of player prop bets to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook.
In the bigger overall matchup, the Wolves are solid 11.5-point home favorites, with the game total set at a below-average 226.5.
The Wolves have surged lately, winning eight of his last 10 games to climb to 18-10 on the season. They’ve played their last three games at home and have two more home games before going on the road later this week. On the other hand, the Bucks have been sinking fast, going 3-12 in their last 15 games to enter this matchup 11-17.
This will be the first matchup between these teams on the season, so let’s break down the trends and find a few of my top player prop bets for this fun Sunday night contest:
Bucks vs. Timberwolves Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Naz Reid over 20.5 Points + Rebounds (-108)
Reid got off to a slow start to the season, but the key contributor off the bench has been back in his Sixth Man of the Year form for the last few weeks, and I think he’ll have another strong showing at home against Milwaukee.
Reid is averaging 14 points and 6.1 rebounds per game overall this season, but over his last 17 games, he is averaging 16.1 points and 6.9 rebounds (for 23 points plus rebounds). He has gone over this prop line in 12 of those 17 games (71%), including four straight games and seven of his last eight.
In each of his last four games, he has scored at least 15 points, and he has reached that plateau in eight of his last nine. With his typically solid work on the glass, this prop line is very reachable against the Bucks.
Throughout the season, Reid has been better at home, averaging 22.3 points and rebounds at home, compared to just 17.1 points and rebounds per game on the road.
Kevin Porter Jr. over 34.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-113)
The Bucks have been running their offense through KPJ with Giannis Antetokounmpo on the sideline, and Porter has been very impressive since returning from his torn meniscus in his right knee.
Porter has averaged 19.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 7.6 assists in his nine games on the season, producing 31.4 PRA (points, rebounds and assists) per game. He was injured in the first game of the season, and played limited minutes (25) in his first game back.
In his seven games since then, KPJ has gone over this prop line six times, averaging 21.9 points, 8.6 assists and 4.9 rebounds for 35.4 PRA per game.
Porter had 22 points, 13 assists and four rebounds on Thursday in Milwaukee’s most recent game, which was a close home loss to the Raptors.
With so much of the offense going through him in the current rotation, Porter should have a good shot to go over this prop line again on Sunday night.
Donte DiVincenzo over 13.5 points (-105)
The Timberwolves have gotten great contributions from DeVincenzo lately, who has helped carry the load with or without Anthony Edwards, who has been in and out of the lineup with a foot issue.
DiVincenzo is averaging 13.9 points per game on the season and has gone over this prop line in four straight games and in eight of his last 10.
He had 15 points against the Thunder in Minnesota’s big win on Friday, after posting 19 points and 11 rebounds in the team’s loss to Memphis on Wednesday.
If you want to be more aggressive, you can play DiVincenzo’s 4+ 3PM at +155, but this seems like a safer play, since he has so often found a way to get at least 14 points over the last few weeks.
