An intriguing welterweight fight on the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua Prelims on Netflix is Avious Griffin vs. Justin Cardona. Cardona has won two consecutive bouts, while Griffin is attempting to get back in the win column following his first career loss in June against Julian Rodriguez.

Check out my best bet for Avious Griffin vs. Justin Cardona.

Avious Griffin by KO/TKO/DQ (-165)

Griffin began his boxing career 17-0 with 16 knockouts. Also, Griffin’s previous 10 victories have all come by knockout. In this contest, Griffin is taller by four inches (6’0″ vs. 5’8″) and has the tools to get back in the win column against Cardona. Griffin wasnt as aggressive as he usually is in his previous bout against Rodriguez.

Griffin is a -600 favorite in this bout while Cardona is a +400 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. Also, Griffin is -165 to win by KO/TKO/DQ while being +250 by decision or technical decison. Since 16 of Griffin’s 17 career victories have come by finish and he hasn’t had a decison win in nearly four years, it is best to back Griffin by KO/TKO/DQ.

With the height advantage that Griffin possesses, he should be able to control the distance and not allow Cardona to land any significant punches. After a disappointing performance in June, Griffin will likely come out aggressively, which shouldn’t bode well for Cardona, as Griffin is an incredibly powerful puncher.
